BALTIMORE — Baltimore City wrapped the year 2024 with 201 homicides, down 60 from 2023.
In April 2025, Baltimore police reported five murders and 35 non-fatal shootings.
Since September 2020, WMAR-2 News has tracked daily murders and shootings each month in the city.

5/31 - 9:59am: Bryant Breland, 42, died after being shot in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road.
5/30 - 10:54pm: A 33-year-old man was shot in the 2900 block of W. Garrison Avenue. He is expected to survive.
5/29 - 11:57pm: A 33-year-old was shot in the 5000 block of Park Heights Avenue. His injuries are non-life-threatening. Police later ruled the shooting was self inflicted.
5/26 - 7:12pm: An 18-year-old was shot in the wrist in the 2700 block of Wegworth Lane.
5/25 - 2:02am: Tobias Cunningham, 50, died from a shooting in the 400 block of N. Paca Street.
5/24 - 7:43pm: A man was shot in the 4900 block of Pembridge Avenue. His condition is unknown.
5/24 - 6:35pm: A 46-year-old man was shot in the 2500 block of East Chase Street. He is expected to survive.
5/24 - 3:41pm: Thomas Barnes, 28, was shot in the 400 block of Heaver Street. He died a few days later.
5/23 - 9:53pm: A 39-year-old man self checked into a hospital after being shot at an undisclosed location. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.
5/23 - 7:56pm: Brandon Naylor, 38, died after being stabbed multiple times in the 1800 block of N. Woodyear Street.
5/21 - 12:39am: A 35-year-old man was shot in the 3100 block of Brendan Avenue. He's expected to survive.
5/19 - 7:39pm: A teenage boy, 16, was shot in the 300 block of S. Macon Street. A 15-year-old was later arrested.
5/19 - 6:05pm: A 15-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to the hip following a shooting in the 700 block of N. Gilmor Street.
5/19 - 5:40pm: Demetrius Phyall, 18, died after being shot in the 2300 block of E. Preston Street.
5/19 - 6:45am: A 43-year-old man was shot in the 3600 block Pulaski Highway. He's listed in serious condition. Danny Sturdivant, 57, has been arrested and charged.
5/18 - 5:40pm: Da'Quan Little, 26, was shot to death in the 1200 block of E. Madison Avenue.
5/18 - 6:45am: A 43-year-old man was shot in the 1800 block of Lauretta Avenue. He's listed as stable.
5/18 - 2:37am: Joseph Robinson, 25, was shot to death in the 3400 block of Wilkens Avenue.
5/17 - 8:55pm: A 27-year-old woman was shot in the 400 block of S. Bentalou Street. She's expected to survive.
5/17 - 5:34am: A 41-year-old man self checked into a hospital after being shot at an undisclosed location. He's expected to survive.
5/17 - 2:52am: A 30-year-old man was shot in the unit block of E. Cross Street. His injuries are non-life-threatening.
5/17 - 1:05am: A 31-year-old man was shot in the 2600 block of Beryl Avenue. He is expected to survive. Police have deemed the shooting justified.
5/14 - 11:56pm: Julio Delgado, 35, died after being shot in the 2300 block of Jefferson Street.
5/12 - 5:28pm: Two women, ages 25 and 28, were shot in the 1100 block of Sargeant Street. Both are listed as stable.
5/11 - 10:41am: Taniya Gray, 23, died after being shot in the 4100 block of Mount Wood Road. Police have since charged 22-year-old Tamal Johnson.
5/10 - 9:08pm: A 29-year-old man was shot in the 4400 block of Belair Road. He is stable.
5/10 - 6:47am: Albert Manning, 37, was shot and killed in the 3500 block of 2nd Street. Police have since arrested 48-year-old Ronald Hall Jr.
5/6 - 12:44am: A 47-year-old man was shot in the 5500 block of Park Heights Avenue. He's expected to survive.
5/5 - 11:30pm: Troy Gaigler, 34, was stabbed to death in the 1800 block of Portal Street.
5/4 - 11:16pm: A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 3700 block of Lyndale Avenue.
5/3 - 9:29pm: Rashard Smith, 21, was shot to death in the 1800 block of Lorman Street.
5/3 - 7:22pm: An altercation between multiple people outside an establishment in the 3400 block of Pulaski Highway led to a shooting, leaving 47-year-old Terrance Todd dead.
5/3 - 7:20pm: A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg during a large gathering in the 1900 block of Eagle Drive.
5/3 - 2:45pm: Micah Comegys, 6, was shot and killed in the 800 block of Vine Street. On May 9, police updated that this death is now being investigated as a questionable death, and is not currently being included in the homicide count.
