BALTIMORE — Baltimore City wrapped the year 2024 with 201 homicides, down 60 from 2023.
In March 2025, Baltimore police reported 12 murders and 34 non-fatal shootings.
Since September 2020, WMAR-2 News has tracked daily murders and shootings each month in the city.
Here is April:
4/21 - 2:36am: Two people, ages 18 and 17, were shot in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Both are expected to survive.
4/20- 6:46pm: A 39-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 200 block of N. Montford Avenue. He is receiving treatment at an area hospital.
4/20 - 5:55am: Two people, a 67-year-old woman and 25-year-old man, were shot in the 300 block of Eutaw Street. Both are expected to survive.
4/18 - 11:11pm: Karmel McGill, 18, was shot and killed in the 600 block of Allendale Street.
4/15 - 5:39pm: A man was shot in the area of S. Fulton Avenue and W. Pratt Street. He's listed as stable. Two suspects, 21-year-old Javon Brown and Michael Yerby, 20, were arrested while fleeing the crime scene. Police said they recovered a weapon.
4/14 - 11:33pm: A 17-year-old was shot in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Police say their injuries are non-life threatening.
4/14- 9:09pm: A 21-year-old woman was shot in the 2100 block of W. Mulberry Street. Police later arrested her father, 40-year-old Kelvin Evans.
4/14 - 12:41am: A 28-year-old man self checked into the hospital after being shot at an undisclosed location. He's expected to survive.
4/12 - 4:42pm: A 28-year-old man was shot in the 3600 block of St. Victor Street. There's no word on his condition.
4/11 - 9:15am: A 50-year-old man was shot in the 400 block of N. Montford Avenue. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
4/10 - 8:37pm: A 24-year-old man was shot in the 1700 block of W. Lexington Street. There's no word on his condition.
4/10 - 3:27pm: Two teenagers, ages 15 and 17, were shot in the 2600 block of Polk Street. They're listed as stable.
4/10 - 2:01am: A 24-year-old man was shot in the 1600 block of W. Baltimore Street. There's no word on his condition.
4/9- 7:22pm: A 17-year-old was shot in the 1300 block of 36th Street. He is being treated at an area hospital.
4/7- 5:01pm: A 19-year-old was shot in the leg in the 1200 block of Aisquith Street. He is being treated at an area hospital.
4/6 - 10:27am: Hakeen English, 35, was shot to death in the 1600 block of Cliftview Avenue.
4/6 - 2:39am: A 34-year-old man was shot in the 1700 block of Aisquith Street. He's listed as stable.
4/5 - 5:52pm: A 25-year-old man self checked into a hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot. Police say he's being uncooperative, not disclosing where the incident took place.
4/5 - 5:33pm: Paris Savage, 30, died a day after being found unresponsive in the 1500 block of N. Payson Street. His death was ruled homicide.
4/4 - 10:05pm: Two women, ages 28 and 22, and a man, 29, were shot in the 5400 block of Reisterstown Road. They're all listed as stable.
4/3 - 9:30pm: A 17-year-old was shot in the foot in the 5100 block of Cedgate Road.
4/3 - 8:43am: Keyon Bryant, 25, was shot to death in the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue.
