September 2021 Daily Tracker: Baltimore murders and shootings

BALTIMORE — During the month of August, Baltimore City reported more than 70 shooting incidents.

So far in 2021, there have been 226 homicides reported as opposed to 215 at this time in 2020. There have been 459 non-fatal shootings in 2021, down from the 463 at this point last year.

In September 2020, WMAR-2 News began tracking daily murders and shootings in the city.

Here are this month's shootings:

9/16 - 7:18 p.m., A 27-year-old man was shot in the hip. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

9/16 - 7:14 p.m., A 46-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in the 1700 block of Normal Avenue.

9/16 - 6:23 p.m., A 30-year-old man was shot in the thigh in the 1900 block of Eutaw Place.

9/16 - 6:04 p.m. Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road that left one dead and two injured.

9/16 - 11:09 a.m., Officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. They arrived to find a 23-year-old man suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound. Investigators believe the incident happened in the 3700 block of South Hanover Street. The victim was shot by an unidentified male suspect.

9/16 - 3:48 a.m., a 19 year-old man was shot in the 5600 block of Bucknell Road. He was taken to the hospital where he is expected to survive.

9/15 - 3:16 p.m., A 46-year-old man was shot in the 4300 block of Adelle Terrace.

9/14 - 9:21 P.M., A 35-year-old man was shot in the 400 block of East Baltimore Street.

9/14 - 9:13 p.m., Three teens were injured a shooting in the 1700 block of North Milton Avenue. A 17-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy were all taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A short time later, a 14-year-old girl walked into the hospital with gunshot wounds. She is also listed with non-life threatening injuries.

9/14 - 8:44 p.m., A 21-year-old was injured in a shooting in the 900 block of Cranston Avenue.

9/14 - 5:26 p.m., A woman was shot in the 2800 block of Boarman Avenue. A second person, a 33-year-old man was found in the 2700 block of Park Heights Avenue. Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

9/14 - 2:24pm: An unidentified man was fatally shot in the1800 block of North Smallwood Street.

9/13 - 9:08 p.m., An 18-year-old man was shot in the 1500 block of Wolf Street. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

9/13 - 3:44 p.m.,: A 28-year-old man was shot in the 3600 block of Caton Avenue.

9/13 - 2:15 p.m.: Two teens ages 14 and 17 were shot in the 2300 block of E. Hoffman Street. Their injuries are considered non-life threatening.

9/12 - 11:52 p.m., Three people were shot in the 3000 block of E. Monument Street. At the scene, officers found a 20-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy. All victims were transported to area hospitals. However, 20-year-old, Davon Barnes, was pronounced dead a short time later. The other two victim’s conditions are currently unknown.

9/12- 9:43 p.m., A patrol officer found a woman laying in the 1100 block of North Milton Avenue, suffering from sharp edged wounds. The victim later died at the hospital.

9/12 - 8:22pm: An unidentified man was found shot in the 3900 block of Cottage Avenue. Homicide detectives have taken over the case due to severity of injuries.

9/12 - 6:12pm: Officers heard gunfire and found three adults shot in the 200 block of South Payson Street. Their injuries are considered non-life threatening.

9/12 - 4:34pm: A 19-year-old man checked into a hospital after being shot in the 2500 block of Ashton Street.

9/12 - 3:00 p.m., Around 3:00 p.m., officers found an unidentified man suffering from fatal gunshot wounds in the 2200 block of Kirk Avenue.

9/12 - 2:51 a.m., Officers responded to a shot spotter alert and found a 47 -year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds in in the 2800 block of Pulaski Highway. Detectives have arrested 20 year-old Ronald Gray and believe he and the victim got into a dispute leading up to the shooting.

9/12 - 12:14am: A 19-year old man was shot in the torso in the 1400 block of Fulton Avenue.

9/11 - 12:43 p.m., officers were called to the 1700 block of Dundalk Avenue. 30-year-old Domonick Dukes, of the 1100 Old Eastern Avenue, was found suffering from wounds sustained by a sharp edged object. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he later died.

9/10 - 7:36 p.m., A 37-year-old man and a 40-year-old old man were shot in the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard.

9/10 - 2:54 p.m.,18-year-old Kendall Scott was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the 400 block of North Montford Street. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

9/9 - Dayeion Diggs-Smalls, 19, of the 2900 block of Windsor Avenue, was shot in the 2200 block of Callow Avenue. He later died at a local hospital.

9/8 - 1:35am: A 16-year-old boy was apparently hit in the back of the head by a stray bullet while getting out of a car with his dad in the 3700 block of Belle Avenue. Initially the victim just felt sharp pain but didn't know he was shot. When his father took him to an urgent care, staff located a bullet lodged under the skin. Police were called four hours later after the teen was sent to a hospital. He's expected to survive.

9/7 - 8:37 p.m., Officers responded to a local hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment. Upon arrival, officers found a 30 year-old man who had been shot in the lower abdomen.

9/7 - 4:21 p.m., Seth Tunstall 31-year-old man was shot and killed in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road.

9/7 - 11:20 a.m., MTA officers were flagged down at the corner of Eutaw & West Saratoga Street after a 21-year-old man was shot in the stomach. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was arguing with a group of men in the 500 block of West Mulberry Street when he was shot.

9/6 - 9:10 p.m., A 16-year-old was shot in the 3900 block of Kenyon Avenue.

9/6 - 8:40 p.m., Montrell Graham, 17, was shot and killed in the 1100 block of Ellicott Driveway.

9/5 - 11:53pm: Police say a man shot his 19-year-old girlfriend during an argument in the 2700 block of Atkinson Street.

9/5 - 9:52pm: Silas Davis, 27, was shot and killed in the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue

9/4 - 8:31 p.m., Travis Ben-Watkins, 26, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 5000 block of Corley Road. The man was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

9/4 - 8:14 p.m., A 39-year-old woman was found in the the 600 block of North Schroeder Street suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. On September 6, police arrested and charged 38-year-old Bryant Foster.

9/4 - 6:50 p.m., A 31-year-old man was shot in the 2300 block of Orem Avenue.

9/4 - 3:21 p.m., A 58-year-old man was shot in the 4300 of Edmondson Avenue.

9/4 - 11:19 a.m., Terrence Broughton ,49, was shot in the 2500 block of Biddle Street. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

9/4 - 12:17 a.m., A man was shot in the 500 block of South Bentalou Street. He was taken to an area hospital where his condition is unknown at this time.

9/4 - 1:05 a.m., Officers were called to an area hospital in reference to a 41 year-old man that had been shot. The victim was very uncooperative and refused to provide investigators with any information.

9/3 - 3:05 p.m., Keith Carter, 30, was found in the 1200 block of Clendenin Street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

9/1 - 4:20 p.m., A 52-year-old man was shot in the 300 block of Franklintown Road.
