BALTIMORE — Baltimore City has recorded 17 homicides and 29 non-fatal shootings in September 2024.

Since September 2020, WMAR-2 News has tracked daily murders and shootings each month in the city.
Here is October 2024:
10/7 - 5:28pm: A 26-year-old man was shot in the 1100 block of North Lakewood. His injuries are considered life-threatening.
10/7 - 12:31am: A 25-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the 1500 block of May Court.
10/5 - 11:40pm: A 21-year-old was injured in a shooting while walking in the 1600 block of E. Cold Spring Lane.
10/5 - 2:53pm: A man was found shot to death in a back alley of the 500 block of Sheridan Avenue.
10/5 - 10:54am: A double shooting left a 19-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man wounded in the area of Old York Road and Greenmount Avenue. Both victims are listed as stable. A dog was also hit by gunfire, police say.
10/5 - 1:56am: A double shooting left a 16-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman wounded in the 600 block of S. Broadway in Fells Point. Both victims are listed as stable. A person of interest was taken into custody in possession of a firearm.
10/4 - 10:03pm: A 34-year-old man was shot in the 3500 block of Cottage Avenue. He's expected to survive.
10/2 - 9:49pm: Tavin Cooper, 20, was killed in a shooting in the 2500 block of McHenry Street.
