BALTIMORE — Baltimore City recorded 11 homicides and 41 non-fatal shootings in April 2024.

Since September 2020, WMAR-2 News has tracked daily murders and shootings each month in the city.
Here is May 2024:
5/20 - 10:12 p.m.: A man was stabbed to death in the 3900 block of Ridgewood Avenue.
5/20 - 6:47 p.m.: Three men were shot in 800 block of North Fremont Avenue. Each is expected to survive.
5/19 - 11:21 p.m.: A man died after being shot in the 3000 block of Mayfield Avenue.
5/19 -12:15 p.m.: A 43-year-old woman was shot in the 1500 block of West Fayette Street. She's expected to survive.
5/18 – 5:06 a.m.: A man died after being shot in the 2900 block of Auchentoroly Terrace.
5/17 - 10:51 a.m.: A 42-year-old DPW employee was shot while working in the 800 block of Allendale Street.
5/16 - 12:14 p.m.: A 25-year-old self checked into a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
5/13 - 10:46 p.m.: A man died after being shot in the 2700 block of Greenmount Avenue.
5/13 - 3:25 p.m.: A 28-year-old man was shot in the 4100 block of Pennington Avenue. His condition is unknown.
5/13 - 2:30 a.m.: A 35-year-old man self-checked into the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
5/12 - 4:45 a.m.: Moses McKnight, 42, was shot and killed in the 3600 block of Leverton Avenue.
5/10 – 9:59 p.m.: A 41-year-old man was shot in the left shin at the intersection of Laurens Street and N. Fulton Avenue.
5/9 - 7:05 p.m.: Janelle Desormeaux, 40, was found dead in the 2100 block of E. Preston Street. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
5/6: A man whose body was found decomposing on September 5, 2023 in the 800 block of N. Fremont Street was killed by stabbing according to police.
5/6 - 2:27 p.m.: A 25-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the 500 block of N. Curley Street.
5/6 - 12:25 p.m.: A man self-checked into a hospital after being shot during an altercation.
5/6 - 4:09 a.m.: Garfield Redd, 33, was found shot to death inside a car in the unit block of E. 21st Street. Montay Brown, 19, has been arrested and charged for this incident.
5/5 - 11:56 p.m.: A 36-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue.
5/5 - 10:39 p.m.: Lavontay Bishop, 33, died after being shot multiple times in the 1000 block of Leadenhall Street.
5/5 - 12:24 a.m.: Two men, ages 25 and 26, were shot in the 3300 block of Reisterstown Road. The 25-year-old, Sherman Anderson, later died.
5/4 - 9:18 p.m.: A 17-year-old girl was shot in the hand in the 2100 block of W. North Avenue.
5/3 - 10:50 p.m.: A 33-year-old man was shot in the 1900 block of N. Bentalou Street. His injuries are non-life-threatening.
