Toddler found alone ID'd, family located, officials say

The family of a toddler found walking alone in Northwest Baltimore Monday afternoon has been located, according to officials with the Baltimore City Department of Social Services.

Social Services spokesperson Rahwa Andemichael confirmed that the girl was picked up by family Tuesday morning, but gave no further details.

The Department of Social Services asked for the public's help identifying the girl, who police said was found alone in the 2500 block of Longwood Street with no identifying information.

Police said the girl appeared to be between a year and 15 months old.
