Ten people in Maryland have hepatitis A because of frozen strawberries.

The Centers for Disease Control and Population said 89 people are sick in seven states after drinking smoothies containing strawberries from Tropical Smoothie Café.

The strawberries were imported from Egypt and the cafe has since switched to a different supplier.

The CDC still expects additional cases because hepatitis A is a highly contagious illness and can take as long as 50 days to begin after exposure.
