BALTIMORE — Baltimore City wrapped the year 2024 with 201 homicides, down 60 from 2023.
In May, Baltimore Police reported 15 homicides and 22 non-fatal shootings.
Since September 2020, WMAR-2 News has tracked daily murders and shootings each month in the city.
Here's June:
6/1 - 6:00pm: A 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male were shot in the area of Light and Lombard streets. They were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
6/1 - 2:04am: A 26-year-old man died after being stabbed during a physical altercation in the 3000 block of Westfield Avenue.
