BALTIMORE — Baltimore City recorded 16 homicides and 31 non-fatal shootings in February 2024.

Since September 2020, WMAR-2 News has tracked daily murders and shootings each month in the city.
Here is April 2024:
4/28 - 8:35pm: A 32-year-old man was shot in the 1700 block of W. North Avenue. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
4/28 – 9:00am: A 24-year-old man was shot in the 2400 block of Woodbrook Avenue. He was taken to an area hospital. There is no word on his condition.
4/28 – 4:08am: A 34-year-old man was shot in the 1600 block of W. North Avenue. He was taken to an area hospital. There is no word on his condition.
4/28 – 2:34am: A 58-year-old woman was shot while in the 300 block of McMechen Street. She is expected to survive.
4/26 - 3:30pm: A young girl was shot in the 1300 block of N. Woodyear Street. She is expected to survive.
4/25 - 9:39pm: A 27-year-old man was shot in the 1400 block of Mullikin Court. He was taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
4/25 - 1:50pm: A 19-year-old woman and 20-year-old man were shot in the 2800 block of Winchester Street. Their injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
4/24 - 12:24am: A 37-year-old man was shot in the 1400 block of Riggs Avenue.
4/24 - 11:56pm: Montez Barrett, 23, was shot and killed at the intersection of Dolphin and McCulloh Streets.
4/23 - 11:23pm: A 25-year-old man was shot in the 3100 block of West North Avenue and suffered life-threatening injuries.
4/22 - 11:12pm: A 51-year-old man was shot in the 100 block of S. Carey Street. He's listed as stable.
4/21 - 7:54am: Joseph Barranco, 77, was killed after being cut multiple times in the 900 block of W. University Parkway. Patrick Cromwell, 59, was taken into custody after calling 911 to report the incident.
4/20 - 7:04pm: A 36-year-old man was shot in the 500 block of Annabel Avenue.
4/18 - 7:28pm: A 30-year-old man was shot in the left leg in the 1600 block of Darley Avenue. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
4/18 - 11:40am: A man was shot and killed in the 800 block of N. Glover Street.
4/16 - 9:01am: A 29-year-old man was shot in the 2400 block of Hollins Ferry Road. He's expected to survive.
4/16 - 12:25am: A 26-year-old man self checked into a hospital after being shot in the 4100 block of West Bay Court. He's expected to survive.
4/15 - 11:37pm: A 51-year-old man was assaulted and shot in the 200 block of N. East Street.
4/15 - 5:00pm: A 36-year-old man was shot in his left leg in the 6500 Riverview Avenue. He is in stable condition.
4/15 - 11:56am: Robert Lee Johnson, 37, died after being shot in the 400 block of N. Bradford Street.
4/14 - 9:56pm: Kennard Murray, 23, died after being shot in the neck in the 4900 block of Palmer Avenue.
4/14 – 12:31am: A 34-year-old man was shot in the 300 block if E. Lorraine Avenue. His condition is unknown at this time.
4/13 – 8:07pm: A 60-year-old man was shot in the left arm in the 500 block of N. Chester Street. He is expected to survive.
4/13 – 6:35pm: A 56-year-old man self checked into a hospital after being shot in the leg. He's expected to survive.
4/13 - 6:03pm: A 26-year-old man was shot in the arm in the 1500 block of 28th Street. He's expected to survive.
4/13 -1:30pm: A 7-year-old girl is in critical condition after a shooting inside Mondawmin Mall.
4/12 – 11:23pm: A 53-year-old man was shot in the 600 block of Homestead Avenue. Police say the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
4/12 - 7:55pm: A 35-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 600 block of Orchard Street. Police say he is stable.
4/12 - 2:54pm: A man self checked into the hospital after being shot in the 2000 block of W. Pratt Street.
4/12 - 12:01am: A 45-year-old man was shot in the 600 block of S. Beechfield Avenue.
4/11 - 7:57am: Devon Thomas was shot and killed in the 3400 block of Spellman Road.
4/10 - 9:50 p.m: A 46-year-old man was shot in the 1400 block of Mosher Street. The victim is expected to survive and is refusing to cooperate with investigators.
4/10 - 4:06pm: A 33-year-old man was shot in the 1900 block of Lauretta Avenue. Police say he is stable.
4/9 - 9:53pm: A 17 year old young man was shot in the 3900 block of Franklin Street. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
4/7 – 12:07am: A 39-year-old man was shot in the hand and grazed to the head in the 1000 block of Ellamont Street. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Andre Wilson, 38, has been arrested and charged for this incident.
4/6 – 11:34pm: Two men were shot in the 3700 block of East Lombard Street. The first man, 37-year-old Jose Castron-Merales, died on scene. The second victim's injuries are non-life-threatening.
4/6 -9:49pm: Uneek Hassan Foust, 31, was shot and killed in the 1600 block of Bloomingdale Road.
4/6 - 7:18pm: A 25-year-old man was shot in the arm in the 4900 block of Frankford Avenue. He is expected to survive.
4/6 – 2:58am: A man was shot in the chest in the 2600 block of Madison Avenue. He was taken to an area hospital, in critical condition.
4/5 - 6:38am: A 34-year-old man was shot in the 1800 block of Braddish Avenue. His injuries are life threatening.
4/3 - 11:24pm: A 62-year-old man was shot in the 2200 block of N. Fulton Avenue. He's listed as stable.
4/3 - 1:42am: A 26-year-old man was shot in the 2800 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. He's in critical condition.
4/3 - 12:45am: A 30-year-old man self checked into a hospital after being shot in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. He's expected to survive.
4/2 - 5:28 pm: A 76-year-old man was shot in the 5300 block of York Road. He is being treated at a local hospital.
4/2 - 1:07pm: Marvin Washington, 22, died after being shot multiple times in the 2300 block of E. Lafayette Avenue.
4/1 - 10:06pm: A 43-year-old man self checked into a hospital after being shot in the 2400 block of Woodbrook Avenue.
4/1 - 8:28pm: Devron Tyner, 17, died after being shot in the 200 block of E. Pratt Street. Police have since arrested and charged 19-year-old Dejuan Cole, of Pikesville.
4/1 - 12:36pm: An unidentified man was shot in the 800 block of Cherry Hill Road. His injuries are life-threatening.
