There is still plenty of time to soak up these unseasonably warm temperatures!

That time will be coming to an end as we approach the middle of the week. A cold front is currently slicing through the central plains-- and it will eventually bring some cooler temperatures to Maryland, but not before bringing some rain.

The best chance of seeing showers during the morning drive Wednesday will be for folks in the western part of the state. Showers and thunderstorms will linger the the lunch and evening commute. The good news-- the risk for severe weather is on the very low end. It will be a bit of a soggy day, with showers lingering through the overnight and into Thursday.

Rain totals will vary, but the chance for the highest totals will be out west. Looks like it will be possible to pick up just over an inch in Baltimore, with folks on the eastern shore picking up less than an inch. Temperatures dip behind the front and highs struggle to get to the upper 50s Saturday.
