Today's frontal passage will bring a couple of benefits to Marylanders over the next couple of days. While there will not be a drop in temperatures, dewpoints will be a little lower...which means it will be a little more comfortable! As we approach Thursday, southerly flow will take over and we will see dewpoint approach 70. It will be quite uncomfortable through the beginning of next week. This is the time of year that we typically begin to see increases in heat related illnesses-- so it's imperative that you remember to hydrate!

In addition, we will see the potential for quick sunburns over the next few days...with UV Indices near 9, it will only take roughly 20-25 minutes to get sunburned, so remember to use SPF 30 if you plan on being outside for prolonged periods this week.

Rain chances trickle back into the forecast Thursday (isolated)... while Friday looks to be the best shot at seeing widespread showers and storms. Temperatures will be slowly trending upwards this weekend, and by the end of the period, we're expecting afternoon highs for some to reach the mid 90s!
