If you follow my social media (facebook.com/wxpatpete) you KNOW that I love music, so I had to pay homage to Earth Wind and Fire.

With that being said lets get into the numbers. Temperatures haven't been too bad this month, we spent most of the month in the 70s and 80s--which is par for the course for this time of year. Only one afternoon reached the 90s, while four days were significantly below average-- only warming into the 60s.

Saturday, temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 70s--which is near normal. Rain chances will linger as the remnants of Tropical Storm Beta combined with another area of low pressure slides through the region. Rain chances will be highest earlier in the day and I think we'll start drying out by tomorrow evening.

Sunday will be drier--but warmer. Afternoon highs will warm into the lower 80s!

An even brighter spot in the forecast is the tropics. For the first time in weeks, we are not tracking any tropical systems or areas that appear likely to develop within the next 48 hours.
