ABINGDON, Md. — A stabbing suspect on the loose in Harford County.

Raja Zahid Maqsood, 32, allegedly injured five people inside a home on Deerhill Circle Sunday morning.

According to court records, Maqsood allegedly assaulted his ex-wife at the same home, on two separate occasions in recent months, leading to her seeking a protective order.

From there, it appeared Maqsood became jealous and irate over phone calls she made.

"Here’s a person who has been arrested, criminally charged twice in the proceeding months and we decide to put an ankle bracelet out there on some promise that he’ll be good… these kind of domestic violence offenders are going to be good," said Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler. "To me, that’s just insanity.”

Three of the five victims suffered slash wounds.

Two were flown to the hospital, while three others were taken by ambulance.

The youngest victims are eight-months and two-years old. Police said the other three range from 19 to 66-years of age.

All are expected to survive.

The weapon(s) used were recovered at the crime scene.

Following the incident investigators obtained surveillance photos of Maqsood entering a nearby Walmart and Target.

Pictures show Maqsood wearing different clothing while exiting one store, indicating he changed outfits.

While detectives believe the stabbing was isolated, Maqsood is considered armed and dangerous.

A $2000 reward is being offered for information on his whereabouts.

Anyone spotting Maqsood's is asked to call Detective Golden at 443-409-3154. Anonymous tips can be provided through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
