A Salisbury, Md. woman is honoring fallen officers through a new litter of puppies.
Tracey McMenamy is a foster parent for the rescue organization Operation Paws for Homes and is also the wife of a police officer. Her husband has been serving on the force for 12 years.
When McMenamy’s latest rescue dog gave birth to a litter of 10, she decided to name them after fallen officers, including the five men and women killed in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
