State police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man who was found lying in the middle of the street in Princess Anne.
Thirty-one-year-old Arthur Terrell Alford of Salisbury was found Sunday afternoon by emergency medical personnel after police received a 911 call of a reported shooting in a residential community. Alford was later pronounced dead at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
An autopsy will be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
