The Maryland State Police's newest member stopped by to visit the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
Dailey the bloodhound was named after Harford County Sheriff's Sr. Deputy Patrick Dailey who was killed in the line of duty on February 10.
MSP's newest K9 Unit member got to meet some of the volunteers and even sit in a fire truck.

Deputy Dailey joined the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company on his 16th birthday and served for 37 years. He even spent nine years on the JMVFC Board of Directors and served as the Chairman of the By-Laws Committee.
According to the State Police Facebook page, Deputy Dailey's family approved of the dog being named in his honor.
