HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (WMAR) — A car crashed into a landmark candy store in Harford County Friday morning.
It happened in the parking area of Bomboy's Candy in Havre de Grace.
Somehow a black Kia drove over a curb and collided with a deck connected to the side of the store on Girard Street.
The driver was evaluated on scene but refused to go to a hospital, according to the Susquhanna Hose Company.
In a message posted on Facebook after the crash, the store said they remain open and everyone inside was okay, despite damage to the building.
