Maryland State Police said one person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 early Tuesday morning.

Troopers from the JFK Barrack responded to reports of the crash on I-95 North just north of Route 43/White Marsh Boulevard in White Marsh at about 4 a.m.

Investigators said a 2006 Infinity G35 for unknown reasons left the roadway and sideswiped a 2013 Lincoln that was on the shoulder before striking a concrete barrier. After the Infinity struck the concrete barrier, it then struck a parked tractor-trailer, becoming disabled underneath of it.

State Police later identified the driver of the infinity as 33-year-old Lisa Ann Schafer of Forest Hill, Md. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers blocked multiple lanes for several hours after the crash.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division are assisting in this investigation.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information on this incident can contact Cpl. Rumaker with the Crash Team at 410-996-7847.
