An 18-year-old motorcycle rider is dead following an accident Wednesday afternoon.
Baltimore County Police say Daniel John Mangold of Manchester was traveling northbound on Falls Road when a vehicle turned from Butler Road in front of his motorcycle.
Unable to avoid contact, Mangold collided with the rear of the vehicle and died on scene.
The unidentified operator of the vehicle remained at the location.
Just a few hours later, a second motorcyclist was killed on York Road in an unrelated accident.
