After a three-day countywide manual recount of more than 87,000 ballots, Johnny Olszewski, Jr. was upheld as the Democratic nominee for Baltimore County Executive.

“I want to thank the dedicated Board of Elections officials who worked around the clock to ensure every vote was counted and every voice was heard,” Olszewski added. “I commend Senator Brochin and Councilwoman Almond for running strong campaigns and look forward to working with them to make our vision of a brighter future for Baltimore County a reality.”

Olszewski, who previously served nine years in the Maryland General Assembly representing his hometown in District 6, resides in Dundalk with his wife Marisa and 2-year-old daughter Daria. He began his professional career teaching at Patapsco High School.
