BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two separate Sunday night shootings that left the victims involved injured.

In South Baltimore, officers were called to an area hospital to investigate an walk-in shooting victim around 9:42 p.m.

There, they found a 24-ear-old man, who was highly intoxicated, suffering from a gunshot wound to the knee. He only told police that he was shot in the area of Spelman Avenue and Bethune Avenue in Cherry Hill homes.

Police said they did not find a crime scene at that the given location.

Officers responded to the second report of gunfire on the city's Westside, in the 4400 block of Fairview Avenue in West Forest Park. When law enforcement arrived, they found a 29-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.

Investigators believe she was inside when she heard suspects outside of her door. The victim went to the door to see who was there, and the suspect shot through the door, striking her in the hip.

She was taken to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
