BALTIMORE — An investigation is underway at Baltimore's Inner Harbor after a body was discovered in a submerged car Thursday morning.
Per sources, the Fire Department Marine Unit was holding a training session in the area where the car was found and alerted Baltimore Police around 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police arrived on the scene and found the car 22 feet underwater.
The vehicle was pulled out of the harbor using tow lines.

After pulling the car from the water, officers found a deceased victim inside.
WMAR reached out to the owner of the Waldorf Silver Taxi Cab service who owns the car and said that he got a call from police saying that the van had been found.
According to police, the van went missing in December 2014 in Waldorf, Maryland and it could have been submerged for several years.
We've reached out to the Charles County Sheriff's Office and are waiting for further information.
The victim has not yet been identified.
