Forty-six Baltimore police officers were moved from plain clothes units back to patrol stemming from the fallout from last week’s indictments of seven officers, police confirm.
The reassigned officers have nothing to do with the officers indicted last week on charges of committing robberies, extortion, filing fake police reports and overtime fraud.
Rather, they are being moved because the Operational Intelligence Division they were part of is being restructured following the indictments.
