In collaboration with the Autism Speaks, the Orioles hosted Autism Awareness Day at the Orioles Park to recognize National Autism Awareness Month.
For the event, the Orioles provided a 'Quiet Room' for families, along with an 'Information Booth' to allow fans to learn more about autism and resources in the Baltimore Community.
The co-founder of The Shafer Center for Early Intervention, a foundation aimed at serving adults with autism, threw the ceremonial first pitch.
