The judge scheduled a status hearing on March 31 to give the State enough time to get a report from their expert and for the defense to decide if they too need an expert.
The state reached out to three experts on Friday and are hoping to finalize one by the end of the week.
The judge said after the March hearing they will move forward with a potential trial date.
