LINTHICUM, Md. — A Massachusetts man was struck and killed by a car in Linticum overnight.
Around 12:50am Anne Arundel County Police said a Honda Civic hit Benjamin Kirchmyer, 53, at the intersection of Amtrak Way and Aviation Boulevard.
Kirchmyer died on scene. The driver remained on scene.
Although Kirchmyer was said to be walking in the roadway, police are still investigating what caused the crash.
