SEVERN, Md. — A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Telegraph Road in Severn Tuesday morning.
The driver of a Ford Bronco told police they didn't see the woman, identified as Darlene Platt, 75, in the roadway until it was too late.
Paramedics pronounced the Platt dead at the scene.
The Bronco driver did stop to speak with investigators.
Detectives are now working to determine who was at fault.
