SEVERN, Md. — A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Telegraph Road in Severn Tuesday morning.
The driver of a Ford Bronco told police they didn't see the woman in the roadway until it was too late.
Paramedics pronounced the woman, identified as 75-year-old Darlene Platt, dead at the scene.
The Bronco driver did stop to speak with investigators.
Detectives are now working to determine who was at fault.
