BALTIMORE — Three restaurants in Baltimore were temporarily closed down during Halloween weekend due to COVID-19 violations.

Noir, Banditos and The Charles were all temporarily closed down.

The Health Department said The Charles was closed because of the lack social distancing at the bar, while Banditos had customers standing and drinking at the bar, face masks not being worn by customers, and a lack of social distancing.

Noir Restaurant and Lounge was closed because it exceeded 50 percent capacity, did not enforce social distancing and allowed customers to walk around the restaurant without masks.

As of Monday evening, Banditos and The Charles have both submitted compliance plans and after conferring with Health Department officials, are able to re-open.
