BALTIMORE — Police are on the scene of an officer involved crash on York Road at Lake Avenue.
Police say a Baltimore City police officer was responding to a call at about 5:18 p.m. Tuesday when she collided with another vehicle.
The officer sustained injuries to her face possibly from broken glass.
The driver of the other vehicle had minor injuries but refused treatment. The officer was taken to a local hospital.
The crash team is currently on site investigating.
Traffic in the area is stopped. Avoid York Road at Lake Avenue if you can.
