NEW MARKET, Md. — Maryland State Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area off I-70 in Frederick County.
Human skeletal remains were found Wednesday afternoon near the Green Valley Road exit between New Market and Monrovia.
The person's name and gender are unknown at this time.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
