CARROLL COUNTY, Md. — Maryland State Police say a teen was hit and killed Wednesday evening in Carroll County.
According to reports, at around 7:55 pm, troopers arrived to the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on MD Route 482 (Hampstead Mexico Road), at Brodbeck Road.
The collision involved a 2020 Toyota Corolla and a 16-year-old pedestrian.
The preliminary information revealed that a group of four juveniles were attempting to cross MD Route 482 on foot, at Brodbeck Road, when one was struck.
The teen was transported to Carroll Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.
