According to officials, during a waiver hearing on Friday, prosecutors made an argument for the two of them to be charged as adults.

The Judge denied the State’s waiver motion for the 16-year-old co-respondent in a written opinion February 18th.

The Judge will issue his order for the 15-year-old next week.
