FREDERICK — A motorcyclist died late Monday night after troopers say he was ejected from his bike on US-15 at Monocacy Boulevard.

Troopers say a 2018 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle, driven by 34-year-old Bryant Wayne Hendrix, was traveling northbound on US-15 at Monocacy Boulevard. For unknown reasons, Hendrix swerved off the road to the right and was ejected from the bike.

Two witnesses traveling behind the motorcycle witnessed the collision and provided statements.

Trooper Zimmerman was the first trooper to arrive on scene; he attempted CPR with negative results. Hendrix was pronounced dead by Fire/EMS at 11:40 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing. Trooper Blumenauer of the Frederick Barrack is the lead investigator.
