A Delaware native, Keyarah Watson graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems. In her college career, Keyarah also had special interests in Women's Studies and Black American Studies.

She discovered her love for television at a young age and made a career switch from IT Consulting to the newsroom. Keyarah zealously joined WMAR because of the growth opportunities, her affinity for television and the warm team environment.

Keyarah is a fan of all things media, pop culture and television. She especially enjoys lifestyle news shows including Good Morning America and Strahan, Sara and Keke. Keyarah also has a passion for late night talk shows and enjoys creative segments. Her favorite ABC scripted series is How to Get Away with Murder. Throughout her college career, Keyarah passionately ran a blog, podcast and personal website. Keyarah is also a talented writer who loves to write stories that matter. Keyarah is committed to being a life-long learner.

One of Keyarah's favorite quotes is: "You can't be what you can't see" by Marian Wright Edelman. She is very passionate about representation in television and news. Keyarah's goals are to inform, inspire and move media forward.
