BALTIMORE — The 2020 GOP nominee for Baltimore Mayor, Pastor Shannon Wright, will open the third night of the Republican National Convention, by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Wright announced the news Wednesday on her campaign's Facebook page.
Her appearance follows fellow Republican and Maryland 7th Congressional District candidate Kimberly Klacik's convention speech on Monday.
Klacik made waves last week when she released a campaign video on social media, critical of Baltimore's leadership.
Wednesday night will be headlined by U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, who will give a speech from Baltimore's Fort McHenry.
The four-day 2020 RNC will wrap up Thursday.
