Baltimore man charged in murder of infant son

On Tuesday Cornelius McBride was taken into custody for the death of his infant son back in March.

According to the Baltimore Police Department on March 25, 2016, six-month-old Kahlil Cannady was taken to the hospital with obvious signs of trauma to his head. He was pronounced died a short time later. Months later an autopsy determined Cannady death was a homicide due to blunt force trauma. 

Investigators identified McBride as the suspect and arrested him at his home on Calverton Heights. The 34-year-old has been charged with first and second-degree murder and child abuse.
