Five Baltimore City vacant homes caught on fire Monday night

BALTIMORE — Several vacant homes caught on fire Monday night in Baltimore City.

Fire crews were called to the 1500 block of Clifton Avenue just before 11:30pm.

On scene they discovered the front and back of five "Code X" row homes engulfed in flames.

Homes marked "Code X" are used to warn firefighters against entering due to safety concerns.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
