Posted

Court records show a Hagerstown man has been indicted on a manslaughter charge in the drowning of his infant daughter.

The Hagerstown Herald-Mailreports that 24-year-old Darius Rolando Jackson was indicted Monday on charges of manslaughter, neglect and reckless endangerment. He had a bail review hearing on Tuesday.

According to the indictment, Jackson left his 10-month-old daughter, identified only as Juliette N., unattended in a partially filled bathtub in his home on July 22.

Police said at the time that the infant was found unresponsive and died at a hospital.

Jackson's lawyer did not return a phone message left seeking comment.
