So far May has been a bit of a roller coaster ride... with temperatures more often than not falling below the seasonal average. We've spent 11 days in the 60s and only 8 days in the 70s, despite the seasonal average ranging between 70-78 (beginning at 70 May 1st....increasing to 78 May 31st). If you're a person who likes warmer weather, there is some good news in the forecast:

Temperatures will hover near 80 for the next few days, with highs Friday warming into the lower 80s! A cold front will slide through the area Saturday and we'll see slightly cooler temperatures filter into the region Sunday and Monday. Temperatures only fall a few degrees, but the change will be more noticeable when it comes to dewpoints:

Tracking dewpoint is how we calculate humidity. When dewpoints are near conditions are a little sticky, but once it creeps up near 70 it gets a little more uncomfortable. The cold front Saturday knocks dewpoints down into the 40s by Sunday-- which means it will be more comfortable outside Sunday and Monday.
