March snow closes and delays schools, businesses across the state

It may be the first day in March, but the snow is still falling. Overnight snow is causing delays and closings for multiple schools and businesses across the state.

FORECAST:

Friday: Snow and sleet likely before 1pm, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 38. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday Night: A chance of rain, snow, and sleet before 1am, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 34. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Saturday: A chance of rain, mainly before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.
Sunday: Rain likely, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Sunday Night: Rain and snow. Low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
