CLOUDY SATURDAY — Overall the weekend forecast is looking pretty good to finish up the holiday shopping! High pressure starts to loosen grip as a trough of low pressure builds to our west. Things will stay dry for us here in Maryland, but we will begin to see increased cloud cover as we head into tomorrow. That cloud cover, in part, will keep temperatures a little cooler than what we experienced this afternoon. If you're looking for the best afternoon to get out and about-- by far that will be Sunday.

Temperatures Sunday morning will be a little cold, but by the afternoon I'm expecting most areas to top out in the upper 40s. Upper level southerly flow helps usher in milder temperatures as we head into the week of Christmas. Don't be surprised if afternoon highs Monday through Wednesday reach the lower 50s. Slightly cooler temperatures return as we head towards next weekend, but things will remain dry through Friday. For everyone who is looking for a White Christmas-- you'll have to head to nearby Deep Creek, or any of the mountainous areas to our north and west... or head to the other side of country.
