Watching Another System....

The weather team has been busy, busy, busy since we ushered in March....it certainly came in like a lion!

We are tracking another potential storm Sunday into Monday. There are several components that must come together for the storm to come to fruition.

The evolution of the upper-level weather pattern is one of those components. This storm will energize over the Pacific Ocean move east across the country and just like the last two storms, low pressure may strengthen near or off the East Coast by the end of the weekend. With that said, the confidence level at this time for this potential storm is quite low.

Unfortunately, this next system could impact the same areas that were hit by the past two Nor'easters but it all depends on the track, location and strength. Because it depends on the aforementioned factors, at this time, it's unsure if we will get more snow, rain, strong winds or coastal flooding.

Usually a low that moves further out to sea and is weak, would stifle harsh weather from coming to pass. On the flip side, a low that tracks closer and slower to the East Coast would increase the chances of substantial impacts.

We are still a few days away from the storm, so stay tuned for the latest updates!
