Too warm for snow

Rain is on the way not snow!

Last weekend was a cold, icy mess. This weekend, this Saturday will be mild and wet as heavy rain will fall during the overnight into the morning hours. Temperatures will be in the 50s as the rain pours down.

With that said, Saturday (tomorrow) will not be a wash out by any means. The rain will push out of the area between 2 and 3 P.M. 1-2 inches of rain is possible with pockets of moderate to heavy rain rolling in.

The wind will pick up once the low begins to pull away from the area. Therefore, Saturday afternoon and Sunday will be dry but breezy with gusts 30-40 mph.

Dry times and temps above average will prevail for the next several days before the chance for rain comes back by the end of next week.

For all the snow lovers, remember there is still the end of January and all of February left for snow. Plus, March is a wild card, so anything can happen.

For all my warm weather lovers, I only have 1 number and 3 words to say: 55 days until Spring!

Stay tuned!
