Fall is just around the corner, so you would think temperatures would gradual drop along with the humidity we were feeling in July, or the peak of Summer. Yet we just had record heat at 98 degrees on September 11. Monday, September 16, will be in the lower 90s and we could return to the 90s again by Sunday, just 1 day before Fall starts. So far, the average temperature in Baltimore for September 2019 (considering the high and low) is about 76 degrees; That is almost 10 degrees warmer than normal! Climatology for the whole month is about 68 degrees. The last time Baltimore averaged such a warm September was back in 1931... that's almost 100 years ago!! That same year (since weather usually works in cycles), Fall was warmer than normal as well. So you may want to start thinking about pumpkin pie ice cream and milkshakes instead of the pumpkin spice warm latte.
