Strong to severe storms are possible Friday (tomorrow). The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has us in a slight risk for severe weather. On a scale of 1-5, our risk is a 2 for severe thunderstorms. The primary threat will be damaging wind gusts but hail and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out.

Thunderstorms will begin to pop by tomorrow afternoon between 2 and 4pm then a line of storms will move through between 7 and 11pm.

Once the cold front moves through, it will bring in a new dry air mass which will result in more comfortable conditions by Sunday. Dew points will be in the 40s, instead of the upper 60s and low 70s like we will feel tomorrow.

Friday will definitely feel like Summer instead of Spring.

Stay tuned!
