The weekend weather will be dry with sunshine but it will be much cooler.

Highs on Saturday will only be in the low to mid 50s. Sunday will be a little warmer with highs in the upper 50s to 60 degrees.

The forecast for this weekend is good news because it's going to be quite busy.

The kids and kids at heart are excited for Halloween but Halloween is not the only game in town. The Blue Moon will be making an appearance on Saturday and Daylight Saving time ends on Sunday.

The first full moon in October occurred on October 1st, it was the Harvest Moon. The full moon that will appear on October 31st isn't actually blue, but since it's the second full moon in a calendar month, it is called a Blue Moon.

The Blue Moon is also know as the Hunter's Moon because in preparation for winter, humans and animals "hunt and gather" (stock up) food. This full moon is the farthest from earth than any other full moon in 2020, so it's also called the" minimoon".

It's a wrap on Daylight Saving time, as clocks will officially "fall" back 1 hour on Sunday at 2 a.m. An extra hour of sleep, here I come!

Sunrise and sunset will be about an hour earlier on November 1st. Plus, there will be more light in the morning.

Stay tuned!
