Oh the humidity! Well, Maryland always has had sticky summer... but why does it have to be humid AND hot?! The last 6 days we have been in the 80s. Sunday we broke in to the 90s. By Monday it is going to feel closer to triple digits with the muggy air. Monday ends up feeling like 100 degrees (and that is in the shade)! A mix of sun and clouds are in the forecast as high pressure squashes any rain from forming. Our winds shift throughout the day from SW to SE, but what does it matter.... the southerly component just continues to drive the hot air in. Temperatures will be about 5 degrees warmer than the normal 86 degrees.

By noon, we will already be warmer than our average high for the whole day!

Even when you get off work, plan to get on the treadmill inside your house or at the gym. Who wants to go outside for a jog in this heat (besides someone who is originally from Florida)?

The muggiest day will be Wednesday and then a cold front slides through bringing out temps back to the 80s. The front also stalls out, right on top of us, so look for thunderstorms Wednesday through Saturday. Ice pack bandanna's are calling our names!
