Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued in parts of Maryland Wednesday as storms with damaging winds passed through the region.
Following the storm there were reports of trees down at Johns Hopkins University and elsewhere in Baltimore City along with reported storm damage in Westminster and Sykesville.

Two severe thunderstorm warnings were issued in the late morning, the first was issued for Baltimore County, Carroll, Frederick, Harford and Howard counties until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A second warning was later issued for Anne Arundel and Howard counties, Baltimore City and Baltimore County extending until 11:45 a.m.
