Let's face it-- precisely forecasting the next thirty days is a step that weather forecasting has not yet taken... But what we can do is take a look at the past, and use it as a guide as to what we SHOULD expect. Mother nature has her way of showing us who's boss, but we're already moving in a positive direction. The seasonal average high for today is 70, but by the end of the month they should reach 78. When it comes to precip, we should get roughly 4 inches of rain...but sometimes we surpass that greatly-- other times we don't even get close. Look no further than the late 80s for those record examples-- in 1986, we didn't even get a half inch of rain, but in 1989 we nearly picked up 9 inches!

We're on the uptick over the next couple of days with temps running at or above average but cooler air will move in as we head towards the middle of next week. Rain chances-- well they're abundant with our next chance of showers arriving Sunday. Another system will approach the region towards the middle of next week, bringing more rain chances Wednesday and Thursday.
