After a dreary Friday with a few showers and flurries, a change is on the way to Maryland. More tranquil weather moves in as we head into the weekend--but there is a clear weekend winner. Colder air will build in behind the front that slid through our area Friday, and by Saturday temperatures will struggle to get into the upper 40s. Combine that with breezy winds--- wind gusts near 25 mph expected for most of the day, it will be a bit chilly to be out and about. Any outdoor plans Saturday will require you to have a nice jacket nearby (on you).

Feel like temperatures... or wind chills, will stay in the 30s for most of the day Saturday. The good news here is that sunshine will dominate our weekend forecast thanks to high pressure arriving. As high pressure slides to our east overnight Saturday-- the winds will begin coming out of the south Sunday...and that will allow temperatures to soar towards 60°. This makes Sunday the clear weekend winner! If you're trying to plan some outdoor time with the kids, or maybe a walk in the park with your "boo" then Sunday is perfect!

Speaking of outdoors-- there's ALOT going on in Annapolis this weekend associated with Annapolis Irish Weekend. The parade kicks off at 1pm, and temperatures will already be pushing into the 50s. We even have a shot of hitting 70° in a couple of locations on Monday... so it really is beginning to feel like the beginning of spring. Rain chances will return as we head through the rest of the week, but thankfully no big dip in temperatures is in store for us this week.
